Information on product safety
▶ Strong permanent magnets are not children's toys. There is a danger to life if magnets are swallowed or inserted into a socket.
▶ The magnets are very brittle. They can break on impact and the coating can flake off. This can result in sharp-edged, flying splinters that can cause eye injuries, among other things.
▶ With strong magnets, there is a risk of crushing if they are brought close together.
▶ Mechanical processing of NdFeB or SmCo magnets can cause the material to ignite due to overheating.
▶ The magnets can damage technical devices and storage media if they are brought too close to the devices.
▶ Many magnets have a nickel coating. Some people are allergic to nickel. A nickel allergy can also be acquired after prolonged contact.
